My work integrates academic rigor with practical insight. Building on a PhD in Agility in Large-Scale IT Organisations from VU Amsterdam, I examine how technology, organizational design, and leadership contribute to agility and resilience in complex enterprise environments.

My PhD thesis
Large companies operating in the information intensive industries increasingly adopt Agile/Scrum to swiftly change IT functionality because of rapid changing business demands.
My PhD research focused on governance and coordination in large-scale Agile organizations, especially in settings where multiple teams need to work together effectively.
Lately I'm particularly interested in the effects of AI agents on business team constellations.
